District 29 Toastmasters is the part of Toastmasters International that covers, very roughly, the northern Virginia suburbs of Washington DC west of the beltway. Toastmasters is a worldwide nonprofit educational organization that empowers individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. District 29 includes ~close to 5000 members and they having their annual conference (Theme: "Embracing Change") on May 10-11th at Capitol One Headquarters in McLean, VA.
The conference includes world class speakers, leadership and public speaking education sessions, speech contests, incredible food, networking, opportunities to promote your business to hundreds of attendees in the local area as an ad sponsor, and so much more. You do not need to be a current member of Toastmasters International to experience to this incredible event (ALL ARE WELCOME!)
